Counselling or Psychotherapy?

One of the most frequently asked questions is 'What is the difference between Counselling & Psychotherapy?

Counselling is now otherwise known as Short-Term Therapy. This may last from anything between 6 to 12 sessions depending on the developmental need of each client.

Psychotherapy is generally a deeper therapeutic process that engages each client for a longer period of time, otherwise known as Long-Term Therapy. The duration of psychotherapy can last from anything from a few months to a few years, depending once again on the developmental need of each individual client.
